Psychotherapy is the opportunity for us to gain higher self-awareness, process trauma and learn to love ourselves more.  Doing this in the space and relationship of a trained professional can help us process and transcend issues that are weighing us down.  Support and help comes in many forms in our life, but psychotherapy is specific to you.  It is a focused space and time dedicated to your well-being.  A focused space a time to actualize the uniqueness of what it means to be you.
